Gallery
Gallery was a Playboy follow-on that followed so close that many thought that it was another imprint of the publication. A letter from Hugh Hefner to to the magazine led to a significant redesign. The magazine was founded by Ronald L. Fenton and F. Lee Bailey. Bailey, one of America's best-known lawyers, was a correspondent of Saroyan's in the 1960s and 70s. In addition to nude pictorials, Gallery ran fiction from the likes of Mickey Spillane, Isaac Asimov, and John Cheever, and was famed for a series of articles looking at the JFK assassination. The magazine went bankrupt in 1974, and has been sold and re-branded several times since.
It's unknown exactly how many appearances Saroyan made in Gallery, though it's clear that he first appeared in the third issue.
